I bought these for future giveaways but if the participation rate is anything like Kyle's Yokai giveaway I might just hold off.
I generally don't enter the contests because I don't need the prizes, and I don't want to post an answer or picture that maybe someone else might post.
I paid to have both books sent together but I guess they decided not to do that?
nbson is correct, book 2 will be late, so Jeff and team decided to ship all of the Book 1's now, and Book 2 & perks later.
A hodgepodge of books I picked up last week.
I got Head Lopper too! You must like it if you're still getting the new book.

I put in an answer just to get the ball rolling. I told Kyle I had no interest in the prizes. So, not counting maka and myself, eight people have "played." It is what it is.

Eek! I can't imagine how much money they're going to lose with all those extra shipping charges.

So far, so good. Not great! I also have Young Hellboy coming from the library.
I have no idea what Verse it but it looks like Saga (BKV not Sakai).
*I finished reading Monstress book 6 today. Holy crap they go back and forth so much in that series it's hard to keep things straight. Maybe others can follow what's going on more easily than I can.
*I also finished Stray Dogs. Good read, great cartoony art.

Monstress reads better as a large collected edition. Liu puts alot of info in there that gets forgotten when you read it as the issues comes out or as each paperback comes out.
I think that was my problem with Monstress. I got the individual issues and read them as they came out. I had so much trouble following the characters and plot. The art was so beautiful but I couldn’t follow along and stop in the 20s. Peace, maka

I'm not sure either, other than I think it's a medieval themed D&D type fantasy. I saw a short preview and it looked interesting enough that I requested it from my LCBS.
Had to pick up Art of Rush for my brother. It's published by IDW so it was on IST. Much cheaper than Amazon which was a shocker! I've read so many bad reviews about the new Sweet Tooth I decided to pick it up from the library instead of buying it. Sorry Jeff, you don't get all my money!

I don't know that it was bad, but it was entirely forgettable and unnecessary, adding absolutely nothing worthwhile to the overall story. It just felt like a filler story cash-in, timed to benefit from the Netflix series. Certainly not a must-own.
Dear Readers,
Gaffey, yes, you know me well.
My favorites artists now are Sensei Sakai, Moebius, Dan O'Neill and David Petersen.
Almost all of the rest of my collection has turned into Martin guitars.
I am looking forward to adding Sensei Sakai's new signed hardback to my collection.
Best wishes to all.
