Ha! I didn't even remember that failed ebay purchase, let alone the picture of the card which you posted. I did eventually find a copy of the Westfield Newsletter

Well, it's a good thing I forgot to put a bid in today, as it went beyond my expectations. SOLD!! For $101.50

Maybe by the time one comes around on eBay again the furor over UY will have died down.

I had to bid against the same three people who seem to bid on every single rare Usagi item. :( I chose to go higher than originally planned because I'm assuming Stan doesn't have a stack of these that he's going to find in his basement. I've only seen 2 on eBay in 15+ years and I really like the art.

I have to admit that I am kind of glad that you outbid me on it, too many unexpected payouts this past week.

And I do have the catalog which also features the same artwork.

Eek! You could have retracted your bid and saved me $50! :P

That's cool. I haven't seen many of those either.

LOL! Congratulations!! You went quite a bit over what you said!

I was ready to bid up to $60, but then things got busy and I forgot all about it until it was already ended.

Enjoy your Christmas card Gaffey! :D

I justified it by telling myself I'm saving a bit of money by not buying the next couple of variants. Regular covers will do just fine. :)

Please keep watching for it (and let me know if one pops up), in case I miss it next time. But don't tell Steve!
