Only slightly Usagi related (Erma Felina)
Having read a few of her Albedo stories while in pursuit of Usagi, I'm now intrigued. Can anyone comment on how worthwhile the Erma Felina series is, or even give me some information about how to keep up with it. I've got Albedo 0, 3-14. Where can I get reprints of the stories from the 1st two, where does the story continue from there (just in the next Albedo series?), etc.

I have become a fan of Erma Felna much the same as you. I think the story is excellent. The series (unofficial) concordance is as follows:
Albedo Anthropmorphics vol 1 NR 1-14 Thoughts and Images
Albedo Anthorpomorphics vol. 2 #1-10 Antarctic Press
Albedo Anthropomorphics Color Special ( reprints vol 1 NR 1 in color) Antarctic Press
Albedo Anthropomorphics vol. 3 #1-4 Antarctic Press (1991)
Albedo Anthropomorphics vol. 4 #1-2 Antarctic Press (1996)
Albedo Anthropomorphics vol. 5 #1-2 Shanda Fantasy Arts (2004)
Vol 5 issue 2 was supposed to be out in February of this year but is late. Current issues can be bought from Shanda at www.shandafantasyarts.net or at Shanda's store on eBay.
Steve Gallacci has continued the story with each issue, although it seems to take him a long time to complete the work. The Felna world is fasicnating, filled with political intrigue rather than "shoot 'em ups."
If your an Usagi collector you should check out your old issues of Critters for Steve Gallacci's other story based in the Felna universe set 500 years after Erma, "Birthright." "Birthright" appears in Critters #1-6, 12-17, and 47-49. Critters #47-49 came out actually after issue #50 and doesn't list Critters as the title but Birthright 1 of 3, 2 of 3, and 3 of 3.
To catch up quickly on Albedo storyline, look for Command Review #1-4.
Command Review 1 reprints Albedo vol1 NR1-4
Command Review 2 reprints Albedo vol1 NR 5-8
Command Review 3 reprints Albedo vol1 NR 9-12
Command Review 4 reprints Albedo vol1 NR 13,14 and Vol2 #1,2.
Each of these issues collects and reprints 4 issues of Albedo without the backup stories plus interesting commentary from Steve Gallacci about the publishing history of each issue.
Except for vol 1 NR2, all the issues are pretty easy to find and usually not more than $4 an issue. If you need a hand at finding any of these back issue PM me and I'll let you know where to look.

Is it possible for a crossover where Erma meets Space Usagi?
I have extra copies of most Albedos ( except #2, Birthright and the newest one).
Please PM if you are interested.
Perhaps you should buy the vol. 5 #1 and see if it floats your boat.
That issue also contains a great history of Albedo in print.
The Felna saga is not for everyone.
The Felna story is slow and subtle, mostly.
You got to hang in there for the amazing payoffs ( like when they figure out where they came from...).
The wait between issues is tantalizing.

Erma Felna is an awesome series. I had to stop reading it though because it was never consistently published, which was a huge downer. Just imagine 10 year waits between Lord of the Rings and you'll get an idea of what I mean. Additionally, Steve retired from his lush airbrush artwork, which was one of the major factors for me in reading the series back in the 80s. To me Erma just isn't Erma without the airbrush. Heck, his stuff looked good even whe he used wash. Maybe I am just too old school Albedo...

Albedo update:
Albedo vol 5 #2 is at the printers now. Production was delayed due to Steve Gallacci breaking his arm. No worries though Steve says his arm is all mended. Look for this issue next month.
