Can anyone tell me the real pronunciation of "Murakami Gennosuke"?
Thanks for your time :0)

Actually-- I'm sure this has NOTHING to do with the question-- but what was up with Gen's name in the cartoon? Which pronounciation is correct? I mean, I could overlook the Tomoe Ame mispronounces, as they were rare-- but compared with "The Battle Nexus" and these two eps, what is the REAL pronounciation of Gen's name?
Not that I am so A-R as to insist on minute accuracy, but I am curious...

I haven't seen the new TMNT appearances yet, but did they mispronounce Tomoe and Gen's names?????? Yow!
To add on to Stan's comments, everything in Japanese which has a "g" in it is pronounced as a hard "g" (like in "Geese" or "Ghost").... Usagi....Gorogoro....Gozen....Shingen... All "soft g" (as in George or Geology) sounding words have the letter "j" in them.... Jotaro.... Jei.....Fujii....Hikiji.....makes it a lot easier to remember that way.

Lord Noriyuki called Tomoe ‘Toe-moe’ once or twice.Todd Shogun wrote:I haven't seen the new TMNT appearances yet, but did they mispronounce Tomoe and Gen's names??????
I’ve never really understood how to pronounce some of the names so I didn’t catch the Gen mistakes.
I’d swear Lord Hebi rattled as if he were a rattlesnake. I’d have to see the episode again to be sure.
