Good Luck Maka!

I was considering biding on this item until I saw it was you. I have a Albedo NR2 already but mines not the best copy and I am looking to upgrade.

Cheers,

I have to admit that I am really glad to have found my copy of Albedo #2 in a half-price sale ad in an issue of Comics Buyer's Guide. Even at full price, it was a fraction of what they go for on Ebay...

I hope, for Maka's sake, that the bidding doesn't push it up over the thousand dollar mark... :?

Good luck!

Thanks Folks,

I've bid my max, so i won't get caught in a bidding war. I'm sure someone will try to snipe the auction tomorrow, but we'll just have to wait an see.

If I win, I'm going to drive down to Monterey Park the next time Mr. Sakai is signing there and have him personalize my copy to me.

I never thought I would buy an first appearance of UY because of the sheer cost of the comic. But like many of you, UY is my favorite comic book because of the excellence story telling for 21 years. And now that I'm in my mid thirties, with hobbies that don't cost any real significant money since I already paid for the equipement (guitar/singing, making movies, blogging), I can justify spending money on my UY obsession once in a while. :)

And I am not bidding into the $1000 + range.

Peace,

Maka

Well I didn't have to wait and see. Someone wants it more than my $300.99. :)

There's still some time if any of you want it and have more money than me. Good luck.

Peace,

Maka

Yow!! That's a recent high. The last really high sale was $1000 but that was awhile back. Lately it's been selling for $300 or so.

It's ridiculous that they're going this high. We've seen so many more of them on ebay over the past year, yet they're going for three times as much as they did when they were nearly impossible to find. Who's driving these prices up?
