Stain glass is incredibly difficult to work with. My partner took an adult education course on it. It still took her a whole quarter to design and produce her own work (a steaming cup of hot chocolate). She broke so much glass (curves and corners are difficult to cut). Amazing work Leah Perry did. Well done and beautiful.Stan Sakai wrote:I would like to comment on a few of the photos:
That beautiful stain glass was done by Leah Perry of the US Territory Marshall Islands. She was not there herself, so it was given to me by her friends. She has an online gallery at:

Peace,

I did commission a stain glass of the Usagi head logo many years ago. It might have been Anita. She was in Michigan, and the wife of (I think) Scott Rosenberg. I brought it as a display to a few San Diego Cons.Steve Hubbell wrote:
Did you ever receive a Usagi stained glass piece from a Dojo member by the name of Anita Buckowing of Michigan? I had exchanged email correspondence with her a few years back and she had mentioned having made one and was thinking of sending it to you. I've lost touch with her since then and have no idea if she ever sent it.
Thanks Maka!Maka wrote:Stain glass is incredibly difficult to work with. My partner took an adult education course on it. Welcome to the Dojo, Leah. And, again, thank you for the wonderful gift. The stain glass is proudly displayed in my studio.aernath wrote:Thanks Maka!Maka wrote:Stain glass is incredibly difficult to work with. My partner took an adult education course on it.
