HIKIJI...HUMAN?

Why is Lord Hikiji human in book one Lord Hebi is talikng to him and you see his face, then from then on his face is always hidden what's up?

I believe that Mr. Sakai once said that he made Hikiji look human on book one, but then he regreted doing that, and ever since Hikiji has barely appeared, and when he has he was hidden behind a mask (if you read "return to Adachigahara" in book 11 you will see him; the story is about Usagi recalling the battle of Adachigahara and how he got his scar). However, since Sakai-san usually reads the forum, he will probably give you a better answer than mine. I'm curious to know how will Hikiji appear in the future, though...

Ziritrion has pretty much summed it up for me. There are no plans for Hikiji to appear at all in the near future.
