Jinxworld Fan Art

Post by Colin Solan »

A bunch of posters over at Bendis's Jinxworld boards have posted some pretty cool Usagi fan art in Mike Oeming's section. Apparently, it was all inspired by seeing Oeming's rendition of Usagi in the online sketchbook of one anonymous, humble yet insanely handsome young man....

Mike Oeming is a good guy. I first met him in 1994 in Detroit. I especially remember that convention because it was the first time I had Maine lobster at a convention dinner. Mike was doing Judge Dredd at that time, and he drew a picture of Dredd in my sketch book.

I got reacquainted with him about 3-4 years ago, again in Detroit. We (Sergio and myself) even shared a ride with him to the airport.

We see each other at San Diego every year, but that place is too big to say anything other than "hello, good-bye".
