Those are very specialized magazines, I could try to find them, but I really don't know where to begin searching for old issues. Right now I'm studying for my semester finals, but I'll look around in February.

I really appreciate any help you can provide, Ziritrion.

I have to admit that I am not in a big rush since I am still recovering from the holiday financial squeeze.

No sabía que las entrevistas existen en español. Voy a buscarlas para ti.

Necesito practicar mi español porque tengo una prueba la semana próxima.

Mucha suerte con tu prueba de español. Si te hace falta, puedes practicar conmigo por email, por MSN Messenger o como tú prefieras.

Steve:

I'll begin my search tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'd be glad to help looking for those magazines...... but living in a little town that is not easy, I'll leave that for Ziritrion.

Dude, that's not right. It should be:

"Si quereis pedir profesores de español, sólo teneis que pedirlo aquí."

Your sentence is too informal, and it may confuse people who have only heard formal Spanish. "Español" should be "español", since in Spanish you don't capitalize language names. "Sólo" should have an acute accent, because in this sentence it's an adverb. And I interchanged the two main sentences because "pedirlo" with a pronoun followed with the rest may be a little ambiguous. Yes, I'm a grammar nazi 8) . I probably would've said a similar sentence speaking with my friends, but if you're trying to write a formally correct sentence for teaching someone or for a report or something, you should always check grammar and spelling, accents included ;) .

I believe one of them (Entrevista en El Wendigo #85) is available through the publisher at the above web-site, if I can find someone willing to work as an intermediary or middle-man.

Shouldn't it be "tenéis" and "queréis?" They don't teach us the second-person plural here in the US, but I believe they require the accent over the second "e," no?

I understood his sentence but you're correct in that the pronoun "lo" is more clearly defined if you rearrange the sentence.

Yup, you got me there, it should be "tenéis" and "queréis" . Since I'm not required to write many papers for now, it's been a long time since I've revised my grammar and spelling skills :P .

Quick update:

Both El Wendigo and Trama are discontinued. Trama was a free magazine given away in stores and the only way I've heard I might get some old issues is in a second-hand market. Unfortunately I won't be able to go this sunday morning (the day in which most people sell and trade comic-books and videogames) nor the next one. I'll let you know if I find it as soon as I go.

You can order old El Wendigo issues from the website you posted, Steve. They only accept checks or transfers. Would you like me to ask them about issue #85? I can ask them about international shipping and we can arrange the payment.

That would be great.

Thanks,
