Just to follow up...

I had to abandon 'The Once and Future King' to read Cormac McCarthy's 'The Road' because it belongs to a friend who needed it back. Long story short, AMAZING! I cannot recommend The Road highly enough! If you're looking for a great and quick read you should pick it up.

I'm currently reading "The Lost World" (second time) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and "Dante's Inferno".

I've always wanted to read 'The Lost World'. I'll have to add it to the list!

I just finished 'O' Artful Death' by Sarah Stewart Taylor and I'm now reading 'A Wild Sheep Chase' by Haruki Murakami. I highly recommend both!

I hear Murakami's book 'The Wind Up Bird Chronicle' is really great as well...

I'm on a big Shakespeare kick right now. I'm reading "The Taming of the Shrew" and "Hamlet" (again!).

I just recently finished 'The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul' by Douglas Adems, author of 'The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy'. 'The Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul' is the sequel to 'Dirk Gentleys Holistic Detective Agency', wich like all of Douglas Adems' books i really liked.

Non-comic books I've read lately:

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy (Probably not for everyone but it's a fascinating novel, very different from The Road but worth reading if you liked that novel)

The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford (For a graduate Brit. Lit. class)

Man and His Symbols by Carl Jung

The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami
